Privacy Policy

What GPU Network collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the controls you have over it.

last updated · August 2, 2026document v1.2pre-mainnet

1Scope

This policy covers gpu-network.xyz, the marketplace application, the provider agent, and our public API endpoints. It does not cover independent providers' own systems or upstream cloud vendors, which operate under their own policies.

2Data we collect

  • Account data — email address, display name, avatar, and any profile fields you choose to publish.
  • Waitlist data — email address and the timestamp of your request.
  • Wallet data — public addresses, deposit and withdrawal records, and ledger entries. Private keys are stored only in encrypted form.
  • Marketplace data — listings, hardware specs reported by the agent, rentals, heartbeats, connection metadata, and dispute records.
  • Technical data — IP address, user agent, request timestamps, and rate-limit counters, used for abuse prevention and debugging.

We do not collect government ID, payment card data, or biometric data. We do not ask for seed phrases or external wallet private keys, and we will never do so.

3Why we process it

To operate accounts and authentication; to quote, escrow, and settle rentals; to pay providers; to detect fraud, abuse, and sanctions risk; to keep audit trails required for dispute resolution; and to communicate service notices. Where a legal basis framework such as the GDPR applies, we rely on contractual necessity for marketplace operation, legitimate interests for security and abuse prevention, consent for optional product updates, and legal obligation where record-keeping is required.

4On-chain data is public

Deposits, withdrawals, and settlement transactions are recorded on public blockchains. Anyone can read them, they cannot be edited or erased by us, and they may be linkable to other addresses you control. Treat every on-chain action as permanently public.

5Sharing

We share data only with processors that run the service: our managed database and authentication backend, transactional email delivery, blockchain RPC providers, and upstream cloud vendors when you rent an upstream listing. Providers receive the minimum needed to fulfil a rental — a rental identifier and the technical parameters — not your email or wallet balances. We disclose data to authorities only where legally compelled. We do not sell personal data and we run no third-party advertising trackers.

6Retention

Account and profile data is kept while your account is open. Ledger, rental, and audit records are retained for up to seven years after the related transaction for accounting and dispute purposes. Technical logs and rate-limit records are retained for up to 90 days. Waitlist emails are kept until launch or until you ask us to remove them.

7Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your profile data from account settings or by writing to privacy@gpu-network.xyz. Deleting an account removes your profile, listings, and wallet links; it cannot remove on-chain history or records we must retain by law. Depending on your location you may also object to certain processing or complain to your local data-protection authority.

8Cookies and analytics

We set a session cookie for authentication and a small number of local-storage keys for interface preferences. We use privacy-preserving, aggregate product analytics only. No cross-site advertising or profiling cookies are used.

9International transfers and security

Our infrastructure runs on edge and cloud regions that may sit outside your country; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses where required. Security controls are described on the security page.

10Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11Changes and contact
